To promote shared values of freedom of both Georgia and Liberland, Samuela Davidova, a local representative, decided to run the Liberland in Georgia podcast. The second episode is dedicated to the local business scene and shows the emerging growth of the local startup, and blockchain projects presence.
Samuela Davidova in cooperation with the Franklin Club, a local liberal think-tank, started the Liberland in Georgia Podcast back in November 2022. After the introductory first season where she invited two foreign guests Pavol Luptak and Mariana Sadecka and talked to them about topics such as freedom and parallel society, or brought Georgia into the international context, she decided to continue with the second season.
‘My main motivation to start the second season of the podcast was to promote the emerging growth of the local business scene. I am sure that Georgian projects will be very soon seen on the global level, but there is no content available for foreigners interested in the Georgian business scene.’ Samuela Davidova, Liberland Representative to Georgia, explained.
After networking at multiple web3 and business-oriented events in the fall of 2022, Davidova understood the strength of the local community and business scene. ‘Georgian business scene feels like when you see a little kid growing,’ she laughs.
She invited into the second season of the podcast people such as George Paliani, Guri Koiava or Andrew Thornhill. Despite the views of a few hundred, she promotes the podcast on the relevant platforms: ‘I understand it has an effect. It increases awareness and trust in the Georgian business scene. I keep getting messages from the foreign founders that they started seriously considering moving their companies into the country, along with their families. This is a huge success I am ready to help them with,’ Davidova comments.
The podcast is available on Davidova’s Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBNQcR5G6_CofGuVJfuLAsHYKbqMFw0xs, or once searching for ‘Liberland in Georgia’. She will work on the distribution on other platforms soon.
The Free Republic of Liberland is a sovereign state located between Croatia and Serbia on the west bank of the Danube River. Liberland came into existence due to a border dispute between Croatia and Serbia. This area along the west bank of the Danube River is not claimed by Croatia, Serbia, or any other country. It was therefore considered terra nullius, a no man’s land, until Vít Jedlicka seized the opportunity and on the 13th of April 2015 formed a new state on this territory – Liberland.
The motto of Liberland is “To live and let live” as Liberland prides itself on the personal and economic freedom of its people, guaranteed by its Constitution, which significantly limits the power of politicians and government in overly interfering or suppressing the freedoms of the Liberland nation or its citizens.
Liberland offers to the applicants to request Liberland e-residency, or to engage with the Liberland business or crypto communities. More information about the state is available at www.liberland.org/en
